Price gauging possible Recently I received a text message inviting me in for my service A. I asked for quotes to be emailed to me. I received three separate prices of $970, 1200, and 1499 for Star, Gold, and Premium level services. I asked Hohen motors for the same quote and the entire service was priced at $499! I don’t think the Escondido dealership will be seeing me or my cars any more.
Amazed by being charged $645 for just one hour of labor — and yes, that was labor only, no parts included. At this rate, I almost thought Karl Benz himself had come back from history to fix my car. In addition, I was almost charged an extra $25 “Technology Fee” — supposedly by accident — with no prior statement or invoice. Luckily, I caught it before leaving and got this portion back.
Said 1.5 hours, then said 1 hour more. It’s been almost 4 hours. If they were accurate with timing upfront i would have gone and had lunch or went and came back 4 hours later. No apologies. Bad experience. Brendon - my welcome person doesn’t check -in, i need to go get him and ask. Exactly 4 hours:) Brendon apologized at the end but it felt like forced.
