Could’ve done it better Brought my car with 2 active recalls They fixed one and left the other one active and ensured me all done and I just need to wait few weeks to clear it in the NHTSA system. I’ve asked them few times and finally after almost a month one of the ladies told me that I have to call Mercedes corporate office to do that second recall over the air. If you've got a problem with your MB sprinter, this is the last place you want to take it. I've had two terrible experiences here: 1. I had an issue with my OBD2 system, the van wouldn't connect with the smog check. I had my van there for about a month and it never got fixed. Took it to MB escondido, they had it fixed and back to me in 2 days. It just needed a new obd2 port (5-10 mins work). 2. I had a cracked DPF (known failure point) in my 2014 Sprinter that was leaking emissions into my cabin. This is supposed to be covered under my extended warranty. The service manager Jose was telling me it wasn’t covered since it didn’t trigger check engine light. I then took to another MB dealer in SD and they said it was absolutely covered under warranty and anyone telling me otherwise is off their rocker.
