A serious oversight occurred during the initial inspection, but instead of making excuses, he took immediate ownership of the mistake. July 27, 2026: MB Sprinter Service: Had a check engine light come on while in Ucluelet, then had a 10 engine start warning ⚠️ come on soon thereafter. Looking at options we realized our only MB Sprinter dealer was in Nanaimo. We changed our camping reservation and found a location close to the dealership. Arriving at 7:30 we found John (service manager,) at his desk already working with another van owner. Mind you Monday, 7:30 AM. UPDATE: A few months after purchasing the vehicle I experienced major issues while driving, I took it to the Volkswagen dealership as the vehicle I purchased (2022 Volkswagen Taos) was still under warranty, I was then informed that a leaking head gasket was a known issue for the 2022 Taos, and could be repaired under warranty. This did not come up when I was researching the vehicle prior to purchase.
