The owner is a master sandwich and hero maker. When I bring guests on my sailboat, we first stop here to get heroes. Eating a “Verrazano” sub anchored at Sand City is peak experience.
Quaint deli/café environment. I went with the Capa sandwich. Fast service and decent price for a huge sandwich. $17, loaded with meat, cheese, tomato and arugula.
