After a long time, I finally found an Italian restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations — and this one delivered on every front. The food was exceptional from start to finish, with the artichoke fries as a standout starter — perfectly crisp, flavorful, and absolutely irresistible. Easily one of the best Italian dining experiences I’ve had in a long time!

This place used be great but has fallen off so fast. At the bar with a few other people and the number of issues is remarkable. A group told their gift card won’t work because they updated their POS A couple got a pizza that they forgot to out cheese on. We were over charged and the staff (friendly enough) are not equipped to deal with issues. With so many good places in West Chester not sure there’s a need to come back here.

I've been here 3 times, is that enough to accurately rate a place? I like the food. It's legitimately good. The tricky part at Mercato is getting somebody to take your order. And then you have to hope your order does this crazy thing where it gets sent to the kitchen, made, and then brought to your table. I cannot stress this enough, the poor service here is because ownership doesn't staff appropriately. Hire more people, or quit jamming too many people into too small of a space. Either one works.

I really enjoyed the coziness of this restaurant and overall vibe. The waiter was very friendly and the food was very tasty. We started off the grilled calamari which was really good, could have used slightly more time on the grill, but the beans were really yummy. The pizza we had the prosciutto burrata and honey was one of the best pizzas I had, just loved the combo of salty and sweet from the honey.
