Darcy Franklin at Meranti Developments gave me a quote that was very high to build my home in Sun Peaks. I was surprised at the rate quoted as I was under the impression it wasn’t builders driving up the cost of housing. It is stressful enough building a new home, without overpaying, so, I found another contractor to build for a more realistic fee, and I’ve been happy with the service.
