DEFINITELY DO THIS!! Sooo worth it! I recommend buying tickets in advance they areuch cheaper than at the door.
We went Monday right ant opening time. In my experience, tickets were not an absolute necessity to be bought in advance. But it would be helpful if you are visiting on a weekend or during peak hours. It was a fun experience!
1. We had already purchased tickets and were planning to meet inside the gift shop. My husband was running late so I didn’t want to scan our tickets yet but needed to meet with my friend in the gift shop. I attempted to go to the gift shop and was stopped by the security at the door demanding I had to scan tickets first. This is untrue. It is NOT a requirement to enter the gift shop with tickets.
