They don’t even understand that you can’t clear customs until the package has arrived at YVR - I had to explain that to them after they suggested I could’ve cleared the package while in transit. Dead wrong. I got a notice yesterday and cleared customs today through a brokerage. I live on the Sunshine Coast and can’t drop everything to show up at YVR by ferry within the 24 hour window they start counting once they issue to the notice of arrival. 90$ a day storage beyond the deadline is a heinous cash grab and sounds like this... read more
