A friend recommended Menya Hanabi to me, and this was my first time trying mazesoba, which is basically brothless ramen. I ordered the Deluxe Mazesoba, which comes with chashu and a hard-boiled egg. I really liked the deluxe version because it felt more filling and had a good amount of protein from the minced pork, chashu, and poached egg. The hours are AWFUL. They close at 2:30 but if you wanna eat in the restaurant it’s more like 2. Almost EVERY time I drive here they’re either freaking closed or it’s past 2 and I get turned away. That being said the ONE TIME I was able to eat here everything was really good. Large portions. Matcha latte was creamy and not overly sweet with a strong matcha flavor.
