My experience as a patient at High Country left a lot to be desired. I really loved the counselor I was seeing (I even followed her to her new practice); however, my experience with the administrative staff and higher ups in the company was poor. When Covid hit, they enacted policies that damaged the therapeutic frame, have the attitude that policy is more important that patient well being. It seams that when they changed from Wellness Center, to High Country Behavioral Health, they lowered the priority of patient wellness. If you like Telemedicine perhaps they will meet your needs, but they left me adrift in one of the worst periods of time in my life.

Absolutely terrible. Dismal when you walk in, feel like you’re walking into a jail cell. Staff and doctors don’t support you. Went there upon suggestion by my counselor to get an ESA letter. My landlord didn’t accept it because the letter did not fulfill the requirements stated by the law. Asked for them to support me and write a new letter that is legally valid. Gave me some fluff about how they couldn’t help me. Want me to pay for the ten minutes I saw the “professional” and the bogus ESA letter they gave me. If you need a... read more
