They try but some people can’t be helped
I meet the day and night shift at LightHouse and they were incredible. Everyone was very professional and made you feel like they wanted to be there not just getting a paycheck. Everyone was very warm and inviting and that makes a huge difference at a time like this.. It’s very homie inside so you feel like you’re in a home not a behavioral facility. I would recommend Lighthouse over and over again.
They have helped me a lot over the years. Dr. Merideth is the most kind and caring doctor I’ve ever had. Privacy is an issue between staff. Kim was working overtime at my neighbors house trying to spy on me. Is that covered under HIPPA? They force me to see a therapist just so I can get my medication. It’s getting monotonous. I would like to have a private conversation with Dr. Merideth but they can listen through the door. I need somewhere with more privacy.
Everyone is amazing there they are extremely nice
Had to have someone else (other mental health prof.) tell me what to tell my therapist to diagnose me with. This doctor said this within 5 minutes of visiting with me. I relayed this info to my therapist; she calls me in to the office to read over a small list of questions with her and someone else in the room. Felt more like a slumber party Cosmo quiz than anything else. After the first few months of therapy, it seemed that she wanted to just guilt trip me for not having "goals" instead of really trying to help me set goals... read more
