The core lesson that we both learned from marriage counseling is that while love is the force that brings us together, communication provides the foundations for a lasting relationship.
Counseling has helped us, as a couple, to open our eyes to what we have in each other. Through our sessions we learned how to set aside time to just talk and touch base with each other through our busy week.
We came here for marriage counseling when our marriage was in crisis. In relatively few sessions we have experienced a positive transformation in our relationship that had eluded us through years of therapy with other counselors.
My partner and I had worked with several therapists over the years and none of them made me feel at ease enough to open up and let go like I have here.
Worst treatment facility I have ever been to. The old counselor lady is rude and doesn't allow others to finish what they are saying. It takes more than 5 minutes to get help. Incompetent bunch of so-called professionals. They "warehouse" patients just for the money. They give out tons of handouts and read from them. Wow! shows they can read. So can I. That's not therapy. I went somewhere else and had much better success and were a lot friendlier and professional!!!
