Having completed CIT training for a 2nd time, I realize that while many never had it, I need ongoing training. The 1st time was at the Metropark's Police Headquarters, today I completed the course at the ADAMHS Board. The 1st experience was enlightening & informative making me better understand the mental health population. The 2nd brought new & additional information making me even better in & out of uniform understanding & responding to crisis. The ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County, works very hard to support Treatment Centers and Mental Heath Agencies, who are puts forth their evert in treating those who suffers with drugs/alcohol and mental illness, within the Cuyahoga County and abroad. I am so proud to be connected with them!!!
