I have been having terrible experience here. If you are looking for a facility that understands the nuances of complex trauma, physical-mental health integration, or modern psychiatric care, look elsewhere. This is a punitive environment masquerading as a therapeutic one.
10/10 will just drug you until they can discharge you atleast I got free drugs and more trauma 🤪 Also if your really unwell they discharge you because your clearly not getting any better Psychiatrist laughed in my face after I just just told him I still feel suicidal Ooo how could I forget the infestation of cockroaches in the ward🤢

Where can I make a complaint to someone who will actually take action about the inhumane way I witnessed patients being treated here? The behaviour of many staff members is absolutely disgraceful. Their lack of compassion, empathy, and basic respect is shocking. You should be ashamed of the way you treat people who are vulnerable and in need of care. I genuinely don’t know how some of you can sleep at night. No wonder you keep visiting times to 30 minutes.
Absolutely disgusting of QLD mental health to allow people in complete psychosis to be discharged. You have no regard for the safety of patients or the public. It seems as though if someone isn't deemed aggressive enough then they are okay to be discharged. Shame on you!
