Mensch catered our wedding and I have nothing but great things to say! They were so lovely to work with when deciding our menu, and walked us through every dish, accommodated allergies, and the food was phenomenal. Have gotten so many compliments from our guest on how tasty the food was! I love that they create their dishes based on local ingredients and I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married on the island!
Mensch catered our 120 person wedding in Duncan at Birds Eye cove farm this past August. Everything was perfect! We had feedback from multiple guests on how amazing the staff was, specifically how attentive they were around dietary restrictions. We chose family style for the meal and everyone got more than enough to eat. We had a sweetheart table and were very well taken care of and staff made sure we had enough as well. Lovely Platters from Mensch Catering, enhanced my families Celebration of Life. I would not have had the time to create such beautiful tasty food. Will be my go to for future occasions.
We had the absolute pleasure of having Mensch cater our 60 person wedding in July. We live in Norway, but had the wedding in Victoria, so there was a 9 hr time difference to considered while planning, but Mensch made themselves available numerous times for consultations via video call, as well as through email, for planning the menu and chatting about logistics. Mensch catered our wedding in September, and all of our guests talked about the above-and-beyond thoughtful service, in addition to the incredible food. Servers knew everyone with food sensitivities by name, everything was beautifully plated, and oh yeah the food was DELICIOUS —seasonal, packed with flavor, and inventive without being inaccessible. An unforgettable feast!
