Dr. Rukmini Menon was with me throughout my diagnosis with Myasthenia Crisis at Vidant Medical Center Greenville NC, and was eager to help me get back to my new normal... She witnessed the full blown effects of my MG Crisis.. She was a wonderful and compassionate Doctor who listened to my concerns and was willing to laugh with me about my hospital stories... Wish her much success in all her endeavors with much emphasis on all MG patients... MG'ers we are warriors...
Helped me to quickly diagnose my MS and worked through the treatments until we found my miracle drug. Now flare free for 9 years. Takes her time to listen to your concerns and explain your options. Sad she is leaving & relocating to Raleigh. Our loss their gain.
Seen this doctor on two different occasions. Once for my back that she was given me the wrong treatment and now for headaches and neck pain that I'vehad for 8 weeks. This doctor refuses to write me a work note to keep me out of work or to clear me for work but wants to send me to a surgeon because of a cyst that could be my problem but couldn't or wouldn't tell were the cyst is.
