First time and last time. Way over priced. Got a straight razor shave and it cost me $70. Wasn't given a price till after it was done so had no choice but to pay. Then realized as I was getting ready for work I still had some patches of hair on my face and head. To be honest worst shave I have ever had in my life. Meng was cool and a funny guy but his work was crap. I have to go home tomorrow after working all night and fix my own stuff cause I paid $70 for someone else to do an easy job and it wasn't done right.

I was very impressed with the outcome of my hair cut and beard trim here. Meng definitely knows his way around hair and tools. 2 pieces of feedback I would provide, with the caveat that I am still pleased with my choice to go here. - The place feels a bit dirty. Hair on the door frame/windows, shelves are dusty and generally a bit messy. - Meng can be pretty rough while cutting. Moved away and had not been to Mengs in years. Came back and the experience was just as great. Wonderful haircut and all around treatment. He really cares about the quality of work and you as a customer.

I’ve been on the hunt for a top-notch barber for ages and finally hit the jackpot with Meng. Showed him a couple of pics, and he nailed my haircut and gave my beard the best trim it’s ever had—something I haven’t been able to find around Rockford to Janesville. His lineup is sharp and no razor burn either. You should definitely book with Meng. He’s the best, plus he’s funny and makes the whole experience enjoyable.
