Did not introduce herself, no eye contact. Barely looked at my information on computer, Just wanted me to have all kinds of tests. Found another doctor.
Strange young woman. I don’t know if it was a language barrier, or the fact that she knew little about my, rather rare, illness. She made little, to zero, eye contact. Never actually examined me and hardly spoke to me. I’ve been a patient at Blue Springs Internal Medicine for over 40 years. Not sure why I was “assigned” to this Dr. after Dr Voshall retired. I had a telemed appt with Dr Zhou. It was my 1st telephone appt and 1st time with Dr. Zhou so I can only compare with in-person app with my previous provider (who I was happy with until she moved). I felt like Dr. Zhou took time to listen and understand. I did not feel rushed. She sounded sympathetic and kind.
Could care less about your concerns. Absolutely DO NOT see her if you are overweight, it will be her only focus. Refused to help me up, went out and got a nurse to give me a hand for 5 seconds. Makes you feel like you are beneath her.
