Let me start off by saying I have never felt the need to leave a negative review about a Healthcare provider before. My visit with Dr. Alex Menendez yesterday was something I will quite frankly think about for years to come, that is how negative my experience was. I read the reviews about the bad bedside manners from some doctors there but out of desperation for relief and needing care I attended this practice anyways. As a first time patient with Dr. Menendez, I found him warm and welcoming. He took the time to get to know me as a person not just a patient. He was quite thorough and made certain that I understood the process and procedures. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of Gastro/Med services.

I called the Dr office and spoke to someone I believe she said her name was Rosalie - I inquired to see if this doctor could perform an internal ultrasound - the receptionist told me No, then proceeded to say she didn't even know what that was .... How can you tell me the doctor does not perform them if you don't even know what it is

Dr. Menendez did not seem interested in what I had to say. He did not answer my questions about his diagnosis and it's contrast to my previous doctors. He aggressively pushed a medicine that I had already taken with no success and he did not listen to my concerns about the medicine. I can't think of any reason why he would be so unfriendly and hostile to questions. He practically rushed me out the door with a prescription for the medicine I had told him repeatedly did not work. I won't be back.
