This jeweler straight up lied to me about a true red stone marked "ruby". Called her out and she called it "a certain kind of ruby". What? Rubies aren't even really red. I think it was red glass. Judith was condescending, ignorant about her product and plain rude. Don't buy here!

I want to recommend Mendocino Gems for two reasons. First, the store is full of unique and gorgeous jewelry, reflecting the great taste of the owner, Judy. I bought a beautiful aquamarine ring, which was what I had spent months searching for. Second, Judy's follow-up service was impressive. Sadly, the stone fell out and was lost after about six months. I LOVE THIS STORE, The owner And the staff That supports her. Gorgeous jewelry with Excellent customer service . I purchased a necklace here, the necklace broke and they replaced it (not The charm) happily! I will never buy another piece of jewelry from anywhere else… why would you! Their collections are gorgeous!!
