Loved this Dr. But very disappointed that the office shut down. I kept calling for months and was told he was out of the country then no answer. I finally drove to his office one night and the cleaning lady said they had moved everything out of the office the week before. I was so shocked and disappointed, how could he do that to his patients, not even let them know that he was closing. I have to start all over again with another psychiatrist.
I believe his office has either relocated or has shut down.
Dr. Mendia is a good soul with a heart of gold. He is a spiritual man a man of god and I love that. Due to my circumstances the office hours work out well with me. And his receptionist is a very sweet lady. However the answering service is rude.
I was referred by my Dr. who retired recently...this guy is the WORST DR EVER!!! Rude people that make appointments, RUDE ANSWERING SERVICE and MOST of ALL the Doctor did not want to prescribe me what I have been taking for years!!! Acted like he listens but OBVIOUSLY didn't here anything..tried to change my meds and diagnosis in one visit?!?! DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
