My mom was a resident for 22 months. During that time she was treated with dignity and respect by all staff members. Many took time out of their day to have small conversations with her. Mendelson has daily activities and a new movie theater that resident's can attend. Hospice was extremely helpful when she began to transition and she was able to stay in her room until her passing.
All my ratings are 5 stars except this one. Both my parents were there. I moved them to a different living place where my dad got scabies. Mendelson is still worse. Don't be deceived by how nice it looks. Peace and good luck with your family member. 🩷
If I could give this 0 stars I could. This facility is nothing but drama, negligence, and favoritism. If you’re not a yt woman that’s been there for years, be prepared to get screwed over multiple times. There are many conflicts of interest , relatives in higher positions working closely with staff. And they ignore the liabilities they have with their selection of workers. Sorry excuse for a manager & they are all complacent in regards of the negligence of the residents. Very horrible management they lie about what they say are it's more like a nursing home. The food is very bad almost like jail food. I would not recommend this place for your loved ones do not believe anything they say. This is not assisted living we had to move our grandmother out of there and she couldn't wait. RAs are over worked understaffed all the time.
