probably a new Hire white girl with a bob told us to not get more samples before we were about to purchase after trying new flavors which drove us away from purchasing and maybe from coming back as a returning customer if we see her again. Do better

I like Menchies but the employees always make my experiences kind of iffy. I just went in and I think there’s a newhire that seemed put off by my and my friends entrance into the shop to begin with. First off, we weren’t welcomed or greeted or even smiled at a single time by either employee, in fact it seemed almost like intended glares were casted our way by this newhire. The flavors are nice (2 stars to that), prices are a bit much. Every time I go there there’s a teenager leaning on the counter who hardly looks up at you when you enter, hunched over their phone and only brighten up their face when it’s time to pay (hoping you’ll tip them for guarding the register? Isn’t the base rate of pay for base level of work?).
