Sometimes travel takes you somewhere you weren't planning, and that's exactly what happened at Menas Palace. I originally came looking for another restaurant, but after the waitress explained it had been sold and hadn't yet been rebranded, I decided to stay since I was already seated. It turned out to be a happy surprise. The mushroom, cheese, and sausage omelet with a side of cheesy grits immediately caught my eye, and I'm always up for a good bowl of cheesy grits. The breakfast sandwich may seem a bit pricey on the menu (with nothing on the side)…. There must have been a 4 egg omelet loaded with cheese folded onto a croissant. Absolutely fantastic! Pancakes were huge and fluffy. Cute place, wonderful breakfast.
