I had a very disappointing experience at the Lake Orion Menards that echoes what another customer recently wrote about being “overcharged, insulted, and abandoned at the counter.” I purchased two 100ft Cat 5e cables. When I opened the first one, I was shocked to find it had no ends on it. Menard's has a great selection of hard to find parts. Staff is always hospitable. Stores are clean and well organized. Unfortunately, the process to purchase items within the lumber yard is a total joke. Too much of a hassle for me.
Warning: Terrible Customer Service and False Accusations at Menards – Brown Rd, Lake Orion My wife and I were recently overcharged $104 at this location. When we approached the front-end desk to resolve it, we were met with immediate hostility from a front entrance manager named Peyton. She was dismissive, unprofessional, and went so far as to strongly insinuate we had taken merchandise without paying. Easy to find items and good prices
We went to exchange an item at lake Orion location and as we were waiting in the line for customer service, one lady named Jessica came flying through the store as soonest she saw us(in the hijab) and started yelling we can’t return and I was shocked to see her like what the heck just happened why she is yelling while she is not even working in the customer service desk. Clearly she was a racist the way she came on us totally unacceptable and we are never shopping at Menards.
