Went to pick up order. Talked to employee. He said he'd grab my order and be right out with it. I went out to my truck where he told me to wait. Meanwhile, the Manager was handing out ice cream sandwiches to the employees. Employee that was getting our order got distracted and forgot about us, took a break. Ate his ice cream. . Cant go in here or I get sucked in like a vortex completing my 10,000 steps in one visit, where I was supposed to pick up one thing! I utilize the pick up service for that reason mainly. Pick up is awesome. The items are usually ready to pick up in two hours or less!
I love Menards, friendly staff at this one, was clean too!
Menards is pretty awesome. I love the mail in rebates that get you money back to use in store, and I think that they generally have most things you’d need for home improvement, and also some good camping gear and pool accessories. I am disappointed that they charge such a steep percentage for a “restocking fee” for returns, though. The employees are usually helpful and friendly. I have noticed that they could take much better care of the plants in the garden center, because they’re often in pretty poor condition.
