Recently, I attempted ordering countertops at the Salina store. The first time Isaias helped me. He told me at that time I would have to have a template, as it is recommended to ensure accuracy. We gave him measurements, and he was right. The countertop company rejected our initial measurements, and Isaias called me and let me know we would need to remeasure, and order the template. Menards is always a fun place to just look shop. Never can tell what you might find. Great for DIY folks
Jim in the hardware department was very helpful and very informative. We brought back a weed eater and leaf blower combo that was on sale and prob for obvious reasons. ( junk ) was just going to get a cheap gas trimmer instead , but after talking with jim and compairing options and versatility of the different equipment , we ended up spending 400 more then we planed, but got some very good equipment that works good and has a good warranty.
