Menards, it’s time to revamp your business culture. Your stores and customer service approach are both outdated. You fall short compared to other big box stores. Set a higher service standard for your workforce. Your employees lack interest in providing help. On one occasion, I came to the store for a refund (no receipt). The employee at the desk (Female Hispanic) who wasn’t busy, became upset when I asked for her assistance. She referred me to the kiosk. I've been buying from this store literally for decades and the love-hate relationship continues. Like other "big box stores," this one has almost everything, but you may walk a half mile in order to gather all that you need. I also visit a nearby competitor where the inventory is sometimes more complete and may include some higher quality brands. Renovations completed last year brought improvements.
