Selling materials that their system says they have plenty in stock but they actually have zero in stock. This is rude and disrespectful. It was a waste of my time shopping here. Not a great business practice as it sent me directly to the competitors.
I hadn't been to a Mernards before and I probably won't go back, it was really hard to pull together everything that I needed for one project. Half the staff was nice, the other half was impatient and rude but all of us were lost and had no idea where I was supposed to be to pick up things I'd already bought. I had to carry one item to my car from checkout then I had to drive around back to the lumberyard for more items before doubling back through to the other side of the building on foot for my plywood. I love this store! I was an assistant GM at the Cape Gerardo store a few years ago. The quality, price, and variety of items here are unbeatable. This shopping trip I bought a new shower head that was only $24.95, which a comparable one at Walmart was $34.95. A $10 savings, and it was a better brand name. I would highly recommend shopping here. And don't forget that the store has 2 levels of magnificent.
