Love working for Menards I work for Menards and I for one am extremely excited about the opportunity to get as many hours as they offer. I get overtime weekly and actually an required to work at least 40 a week. I have friends who aren't working or are getting barely any hours. I am also aware that I am always ASKED to work extra. They never force me to. Therefore you really see who the problem is when it comes to working so much. Because I know its tough to fibd work right now and Menards has been nothing but good to me.
Unhappy with new policy Used to shop at this Menards and spent a lot of money. They no longer give military discounts. I plan on spending my money at their competitor stores that do give a discount.
Huge store and good price. My husband's grandmother lives in Camby, so we stop by at Menards in Camby. The store is still new and clean. I think it opended 2-3 years ago. They have great sales every week. We have bought a lot of stuff for our home improvement projects. Menards stores are generally not as nice as Lowe's. But, they have nice rebate program where you can get rebetes as the form of Menards check. You can use them like gift certificates.
Good efford poor follow through We started with Menards to do an expansion to our home. We contacted the contractors department to help design and determine material listing. Apparently the are not completely trained. We recieved materials that we had no idea what they were for. We had "special" order doors for a standard doorframe. Restock fee was 50%, and the merchandise was not correct. don't shop much there anymore.
great place to shop Menards is not just a place to buy things for your home or to repair your home....they have appliances, ceiling fans, flooring, roofing, garden tools, anything and everything you can think of... and more...that is what is under the roof of this store. I enjoy myself everytime I go there....even just looking around...not looking for anything in particular. The workers are helpful... it is a very pleasant experience shopping here.
Great Paint! We always get nice service, and great products when we visit Menards. The Pittsburgh paints are the best I have ever used, and much cheaper than the competition!
