We attended a wedding here in August, and it was a beautiful venue! The only negative was the lack of indoor bathrooms, but the porta-potties were very clean.
This venue is gorgeous, but absolutely NOT handicap accessible. Between the horribly uneven lawn which you park on, to crushed gravel before entering the barn, to the stairs only going to the orchard area, to no accessible bathrooms without a huge step up... it is an absolute nightmare to navigate, even with a cane (I was using a rollator, another person a knee scooter, and another a wheelchair, but even a person with a cane was having difficulty). Our wedding was originally planned for 2020 and of course was bumped to 2021. Finding a venue that would accommodate our guests and create the "rustic, Maine wedding vibe" was difficult however we were able to capitalize on this venue seamlessly. Peter is an amazing host for a "build your own" wedding. He is attentive and forthcoming about all things considered. Memory Lane Barn is a magical place for a blank slate venue. The barn is off a quiet road and set back down a long driveway. Absolutely peaceful, but very easy to find via gps. It has a 36’ x 72’ footprint, so there is plenty of room to work with. Not only is the barn gorgeous, but also the entire property, with apple trees, wildflowers, and open fields. Cannot say enough about this venue. What a great place for a wedding. Peter was amazing to work with and the venue is beautiful. He made everything easy and helped out all along the way. We could not be happier with the entire experience!!
