Beautiful facility, great employees, but Woefully under staffed. Although staff goes over and above it seems like the owners are all about money. The grounds are weed infested, the rooms are often not clean. And 1 person to take care of 8 to 10 residents is just criminal! When we signed up we were told there would be 3 staff in Each unit at all times, not so. 1 at best. Deep Appreciation to the extraordinary staff of Memory Haven: Lyn: Her “can do attitude” makes the Residents feel relax, smile, and be at ease. She finds ways for the Residents not to miss a meal. My spouse was at the media room’s recliner & didn’t want to get up for dinner. Lyn took his dinner to him. My spouse ate & finished his dinner. Lyn also took the time and the initiative to make my spouse say yes for a sponge bath, shave, and change of clothes. Memory Haven is one of a kind. Memory Haven is very interactive with all of the residents. Memory Haven treats my mother as it was their mother. Facility is always clean and everything up to date. You can go in to memory Haven at any time and speak with any of the management team which doesn't excellent job. Thank you very much for all you do
Memory Haven and everyone who works there has been such a blessing to my family. I find peace in knowing how well my mother is taken care of. She is treated with dignity, respect and love. Thank you Memory Haven, and a special shout out to the director Donna Wing who made our transition seamless during such a stressful and emotional time.
