So Thankful for the kindness, care and compassion they show her. Knowing she is treated with such patience, dignity and genuine care means more than words can express. We truly appreciate everything they do for her and are so grateful she is in such caring hands. The whole team is so wonderful to her and it gives me such peace of mind knowing this.

After many years of dealing with the ups and downs of my husband's Alzheimer's, I needed time to breathe. My husband attends the amazing day program at Markham Memory & Company for a few hours, three times a week. At first, this was enough to carve out some time for myself but not so much anymore. It was decided to try four nights of respite care. Best decision I made not just for me, but for my husband as well. Ruth returned from her eleven day stay at the Buttonville location quite refreshed and content. Our daughter reported that in her visit she observed the care-givers to be very attentive and sincere. They allowed Ruth to roam as she wanted and then gently directed her to the programs and meals as required. In all it was a very respectful environment filled with activity and good-will.
