This review is specifically for the plebotomists in the lab. PLEASE be more gentle with your technique when drawing blood. I've been getting my blood drawn here and get bruised everytime. Probably the worst blood-draw experience I've ever had.
Both my husband and I had very bad experience here. Vy Kiew was very cold and rude. Maybe she’s nice sometimes to other people, but definitely not to us. I had an annual physical here a few years ago and I still remember the way she talked to me. I switched to another doctor at the Long Beach location and it has been great so far. My daughter went there today and apparently they didn't thoroughly check her insurance they wanted her to pay cash up front and get reimbursed when I called they said everything is fine she could go to any urgent care because we have a PPO called back and talked to someone there they put it on her chart she was waiting out in the car for over an hour no one called her so she went back in to tell the receptionist. I scheduled a 4:10 appointment here for bloodwork and the lady who does the lab work called me and asked if I could come in earlier. I could not. She was short with me and definitely was more rough then she needed to be drawing my blood. It left a bruise on my arm that is still here 4 days after the blood was drawn.
Best medical care I have ever had. Dr. Thompson and staff go out of their way to take good care of their patients! Detailed information is available online on what is called MyChart. You always have access to all of your information regarding your medical records!
