Our dad started with acute urinary retention that required emergency visit of placing Foley catheter back in Oct 2022. He was then diagnosed with Beign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) We had to look for a urologist for dad to help with the Foley catheter and prescribing of meds. I had so many questions how this happened and why this enlarged prostate wasn’t diagnosed by his family doctor and what do we need to do next.
