Terrible experience! My mother has advanced cancer and has trouble getting around. We woke up extremely early to make our appointment at Sloan. I asked the doctor (A. Gonzalez) some questions about the procedure. He proceeded to tell me I should not be asking questions at this point, was condescending, aggressive and basically threatened to cancel the biopsy and without speaking with us, and actually ended up cancelling it. I informed him the IV seemed to have stalled and he said “Now you’re questioning the IV”’ , I stated I... read more

today I (a cancer survivor) canceled my annual cancer screening blood test at Sloan Kettering (the famous cancer center in NYC) why? they still require wearing of a mask by everyone regardless of our individual health situations I advised Sloan that masks lower O2 levels and studies show lower O2 promotes cancer cell growth Sloan said it doesnt care they just want to protect us from covid but the masks dont protect from covid so... Sloan the "cancer" hosp forces patients to increase our cancer risk in order to protect... read more

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center it’s a very unprofessional, unethical and disgusting how you treat patients. Dr Markova at the 74th building in NYC. I have been recently diagnosed with GVHD of the skin and scheduled an appointment and they have called me four times between the hours of 3pm and 4pm to reschedule the appointment now for the fourth time because Dr Markova has a “meeting”. The girls in the office Anna and Jocelyn have been nothing but unprofessional as well. Then I had a patient representative call me ... read more

Heartbreaking lack of care during my treatments, misdiagnoses, and no anesthesia during procedures. The doctor missed 6 of my tumors which were metastatic. He was just going to do a lumpectomy on the two he found and send me home. I "knew" I had more cancer and I had to insist on a breast MRI about a half dozen times before he agreed. I told him I was going to go to Sinai and have the test and if they found anything, I'd sue him and Sloan. That motivated the MRI getting done. I was loaded both sides with two different types ... read more

At first, I was impressed by the quality of care. The doctor was very friendly and the nurses were too. I had biopsies done. Thankfully, I turned out okay. However, my doctor's bedside manner completely changed when my results came back benign. She told me to seek out local care for my annual exams, ignored my request for a recommendation for a doctor, and couldn't get me out quick enough. I could understand if she didn't have anyone to recommend, but she simply just didn't respond. She works as a gynecologic oncologist. I j... read more
