The staff is wonderful. But my complaint is the amount of time waiting to be seen by a doctor. The waiting time for some doctors is just ridiculous! Any appointment is going to run you 2-3 hours. Have got to do better with this. Some of these patients value their time or what they have left of it, to be sitting around for hours.
If you’re looking for CARE and not just treatment seek help elsewhere. If you experience a problem, symptom, side-effect or otherwise as a result of their treatment or cocktail they’ll deflect and send you in a million different directions rather than assuming ownership. Also, good luck getting someone on the phone…you’ll have to leave a message and MAYBE they’ll call you back (on their time of course)
This place is fantastic! My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, which was an obviously devastating diagnosis. She just had her first appointment and treatment at Sloan- every single employee was incredible. A special shout out to the nurses Justine, Shirley and of course Dr. Ng who has an incredible bed side manner, makes you very comfortable and hopeful (while being realistic) during a difficult time. Amazing people who really care about their patients. Cant say enough good things about this place
I have nothing but good things to say about MSK. They are caring, understanding, and just overall good people. I have read some of reviews and yes the wait time is long sometimes, but just have to deal with it, I am sure it’s out of there control. I personally see Dr Sugerman, and he is a wonderful oncologist and more importantly a genuinely nice man. He staff is amazing, especially Is RN, Kesha. The RN’s in the lap room and treatment room are amazing as well. Sincerely Keith B Gargan
