Went to visit my mother in the mausoleum when I went down to see her the floor was flooded. I had to walk in standing water. Also while going to see my grandparents had to walk in dark halls because lights burned out or they just are broken. It is really sad to see all the paint that is peeling on ceilings and walls. I would like to share my experience with Jewish Funeral services at Memorial Park in Skokie. My husband and I a few years ago decided to make funeral arrangements through Jewish services. We were treated with respect and many of our questions were answered kindly during that first visit there was no pressure and we were satisfied with the arrangements made. Very helpful staff, nicely kept facility, clear with options
The Romanian ortodox church service ran late, which caused us to arrive behind schedule. Even so, the cemetery staff was incredibly understanding, patient, and accommodating. They never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable, and their professionalism and empathy meant so much to me and my family. I really appreciate them all !
