This library requires ID to enter. When you ask the little kids who enforce this racist policy against undocumented immigrants they get upset and claim it's because the library has valuable items inside. Yet the nearby State Historical Society (which definitely has valuable items) does not require ID. The reason for the ID requirement goes way back to the anti-Vietnam war protesters on the mall during the 1960"s. (Back when liberals didn't like wars.)
