They take their sweet time to do anything make you wait for hours went on for bad rib pain took hours just to say we are gonna give you a steroid. Waste of time and money if your having bad pain I would probably go to a different ER
During my recent ER visit for heart attack symptoms we initially felt like this was a thorough and professional visit, but afterwards I reviewed the diagnostic findings (I'm a retired RN), I found several concerns that were not mentioned by the ER doctor during my visit. He essentially told us that he "didn't see anything abnormal", provided a GI referral due to GERD (could've been causing the heart attack symptoms), and he sent an OTC drug prescription to CVS that I said I didn't want. We cannot say enough good about the care we received that started as soon as we walked in the door of the ER. The care was exceptional! They took care of my son’s appendix pain quickly by doing the appropriate tests, keeping him comfortable, and scheduling surgery within a short time. They cared for me as his mother as well. They kept me informed on each step, explaining everything they were doing. As a nurse myself, I couldn’t have asked for anything more! I will make the 50 minute drive again to get this kind of care.
