Impossible to get someone to help with scheduling an appointment. The last two days have spent hours on hold, the longest being an hour long and then getting the message the office was temporarily closed. Have called back 6 times at all different times of day.. Switchboard is responsive but can’t get past that point. This is a really inefficient system.
Dr. Brown should not be practicing emergency medicine and I will write more later. I came to the ER with intense nausea dizziness and intermittent chest pain secondary from low iron levels. He discharged me without any supportive care such as prescribing me Zofran or giving me IV fluid to increase blood volume. I should have gotten an Iron Infusion. I crashed at Attittash, sadly, it was an emergency with surgery for my right arm fracture with dislocation. The ER staff, nurses, and doctors at MaineHealth Memorial Hospital were superb! I am so grateful that they took such great care of me when I was away from home. I couldn't be more grateful to such an incredible surgeon Dr. Derek Chase.
