I was treated very well by some awesome healthcare providers who attended to my emergency and emotional needs in an expeditious manner. The whole process was stream lined and thorough. They will continue to be my hospital of choice.
Do not go to this ER. Brought someone in because they were having a bad reaction to medications for abdominal pain. They hadn't slept in a day, and so they needed me to help answer questions. The doctor insisted in only talking to the patient who was expressing distress because they were too out of it to explain. Since they were so insistent the patient agreed, but had a simple ask: just give me a few seconds to collect myself. No dice, kept on asking questions and escalating. walked in @11p thinking this was an urgent care, but it’s an er. he didn’t have to but josue, the receptionist, was very nice and called surrounding urgent cares from the desk phone to see which ones are open this late. hopefully they keep this guy around and their other staff is just as helpful and caring.
Absolutely horrible experience! Don't come here. You'll wait forever to find out absolutely nothing or be misdiagnosed. I've been misdiagnosed twice here before. Once came in terrible pain with glucose over 400 and was told it's just exhaustion then sent home by a male doctor who didn't even take time to use a stethoscope or anything on me. I called an advocate and then a manager called to apologize and sent me back but to a different doctor working the ER.
