I brought my daughter to this ER on Friday because she was lethargic—meaning unusually tired, low-energy, and not acting like her normal self. When I informed the physician, she told me outright that my daughter was not lethargic and appeared agitated that I even brought it up. I had a terrible experience with Dr. Kevin Beres. I brought my 1-year-old daughter in twice for the same issue. The 1st doctor told us to return after two days if it didn’t improve so they could do “further testing.” When we came back 3 days later, Dr. Beres was on duty and was condescending to my husband and I from the start. When we asked what “further testing” meant, he responded, “If I do a CT scan, she could develop CANCER or FERTILITY issues later in life from an unnecessary scan...” We were shocked by this statement— ... read more
This place is our go to place to bring our 3 year old daughter. It always takes about 3 or more hours bringing her to the emergency room but here we're in and out within a half hour. The doctor and nurses were really great with her and the receptionist was awesome! We were having issues with my daughter's insurance which is always so embarrassing but the receptionist took her time to write out what I needed to do to resolve it and she really went above and beyond. I couldn't recommend this place more.
What brought us here was Donna Herrera’s awesome and very accurate review—and she was absolutely right! We brought our son in a little before midnight after he was diagnosed with croup at Urgent Care. It seemed like it was getting better, but then it came back with a vengeance while he was sleeping, so we decided to come in. From the moment we walked in, the receptionist was good. I do not typically leave negative reviews; however, I feel it is important to share my experience. I visited this ER due to concern for a possible blood clot in my arm. The nurse practitioner assured me that no clot was present, yet no diagnostic testing was performed — no ultrasound, blood work, or urine sample were obtained to confirm this assessment.
