I do not typically leave negative reviews; however, I feel it is important to share my experience. I visited this ER due to concern for a possible blood clot in my arm. The nurse practitioner assured me that no clot was present, yet no diagnostic testing was performed — no ultrasound, blood work, or urine sample were obtained to confirm this assessment. Ive given this place too many chances. Seeing how it's so close to my home I tend to go here, but time after time they have provided little care or no care at all. My last visit I went in via ambulance because I was having a bad sciatica flare up. I advised them of my past medical condition with sciatica and they still chose to not treat it. Gave me a shot of morphine which cause me to become drowsy, as soon as I dosed off they woke me up and discharged me an stated on my after care summary that after medicine I felt better!... read more
My family has not had the best experiences with Memorial Hermann Hospitals over the years. We ended up at the ER around midnight with our 3 year with croup. The receptionist was very friendly. Nurse Faith was super sweet, educated us and just chatted as we had to be monitored for 2 hours before going home. Dr. Campbell was very professional and empathetic towards our situation. All in all our 3 year old isn’t terrified of the doctor and they were able to relieve his symptoms.
I was treated very well by some awesome healthcare providers who attended to my emergency and emotional needs in an expeditious manner. The whole process was stream lined and thorough. They will continue to be my hospital of choice.
Do not go to this ER. Brought someone in because they were having a bad reaction to medications for abdominal pain. They hadn't slept in a day, and so they needed me to help answer questions. The doctor insisted in only talking to the patient who was expressing distress because they were too out of it to explain. Since they were so insistent the patient agreed, but had a simple ask: just give me a few seconds to collect myself. No dice, kept on asking questions and escalating.
