If I could give zero stars, it would still be too generous. This ER operates with a shocking lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic human decency. From the moment I arrived, I was met with indifference and disrespect. I was visibly distressed and in tremendous pain, arriving late with children - clearly not a situation anyone chooses unless absolutely necessary. Memorial Hermann will not complete a scheduled surgery because I do not have a friend to pick me up after the surgery. I'm new in Houston and have not made friends yet. But Memorial Hermann does not care and did nothing to assist me. A Hermann Memorial staff person saw my post and directed me to contact the hospital, which I did, but never received a reply
I was rushed to the er and then later admitted into the hospital rooms and the nurses and staff were nothing but sweet to me. They always checked to make sure I was okay and did everything they could to ensure my comfort. Genuinely can’t thank the staff at this place enough for helping me when I couldn’t help myself.
