I developed a severe tooth abscess that quickly got out of control. My dentist explained the infection was too deep to treat in-office and needed to be handled in the ER. When I went to the ER, I was sent home and told it was cellulitis in my face. Unfortunately, I was given the wrong medication and no real treatment. This hospital and mostly the ER has such bad reviews you would think that they would acknowledge you with something other than a reply that says feel this form out. If at all possible find another hospital to go to and pray you don't have the rude nurses, doctors and staff that are at southeast memorial!!
Where to start with this disaster of a hospital. I will be filing a complaint to Texas Health and Human services. I left this place against doctors wishes because it was the most filthy hospital I've ever been in and I was treated the worst I have ever been, in this setting. Everything in there was sticky and coated in scum of some kind. Leftover syringes on the floor and used blankets left all throughout the waiting room. Ok people do not go to this hospital! They will overcharge you for everything and when you call to dispute something all they tell you is call your insurance and have a nice day! This place is the worst, been dealing with their deceiving malicious work practices for months now. Tried to use my personal Cpap machine when I was hospitalized and was denied to use it. They said we will bring you one, you can’t use yours. Well that “forceful” we will bring you one ended up costing me an extra $1,383 out of pocket which I just not... read more
