I own a midsize company. I have a MH PPO plan. My doctor order an MRI a week and half ago and the MRI still hasn't been approved. I was informed today that they still have a week left to approve or disaprove the MRI. In the meantime I have to suffer because a plan of treatmeant for my low back pain and sciatica can't start due to the delay in MRI approval. I have MH insurance, MRI was ordered by a MH physician, procedure was scheduled at a MH facility. Why in earth should it take 15 days to approve the MRI? I regret signing ... read more

I absolutely love Memorial Hermann Advantage. My doctors are top rated physicians. I have NEVER paid a penny to see my PCP., which I might add is the best I've EVER had!!The customer service reps are professional and always helpful, in fact they are delightful. I am a former Medical Sales Rep, so my review is not from someone who knows nothing about healthcare. I honestly think Memorial Hermann Advantage is the best health plan out there! Reading some of these bad reviews makes me wonder where they are actually coming from..... read more

My employer just switched over to this plan and I already hate it. Their customer service agents are not helpful & are very rude. Even when you ask to speak with a manger, supervisor, or team lead there is never one available. We all are pushing to go back to BCBS next enrollment.

Memorial Hermann Medicare advantage customer support is mediocre to low at its best. They advertise free PCP visits but there is a hidden $50 facility fee that the plan will not cover for an in network doctor. Just imagine $50 per visit cost to a fixed income senior. Talked to multiple reps but all you get is sweet talk. No way to communicate online and your stuck calling the same customer support line and the people that don’t help and in a viscous circle of red tape. Don’t recommend.

Avoid this carrier, it is worth paying double as an employer to not use this company. Extremely suspect accounting practices and provider payment practices. Atrocious customer service and representation. Calls are not returned (no one ever answers), emails may be returned a week or two later with a "you are an idiot" tone to their client. I still can't get an answer that isn't filled with jargon and runaround regarding claims they say were paid, but they only paid 4% of the total bill. suffice to say, a larger, more professi... read more
