Down right amazing. So glad I found them for this pregnancy (3rd). I saw Dr Frye and he was very laid back, straight forward, and he did perform my C section and it was a great experience (finally!) I had 2 very rough experiences with my now 9yo and now 1.5yo at different hospitals. McLaren was the worse one but mostly the doctor that delivered. I have nothing bad to say about the OB-GYN doctors—they are amazing. However, their ultrasound techs are trash. Every ultrasound I’ve had has been a bad experience, and the pictures have been terrible. They never actually confirmed the baby was a girl by ultrasound—only through the blood test at 12 weeks. I never received a single ultrasound picture that said, “It’s a girl,” so we were really just going off the blood work. Everyone is all really nice and the waiting and ultrasound rooms are very cozy
I came to Memorial yesterday as I'm having severe back pain, and I am 24 weeks pregnant. My care provider for this pregnancy is over an hours drive away. They recommended I go local to make sure my kidneys were fine, etc. From the moment I entered the OB department, I felt judged. I was questioned where I was getting my prenatal care by a nurse names Cheryl and a gentleman who was doing the paperwork (I don't remember his name). I was nervous about giving birth at Memorial because it’s a small hospital and I wondered how prepared they were, etc. It wasn’t an easy go of it but I am learning everyone’s birth experience is unique so to think yours will be the same as someone else’s is not recommended. Dr. London delivered my son as he was the on call OB and I’m so glad he did. He explained everying so well, and was very thorough. I quickly felt thankful he was the on call doctor. I felt safe.
