My experience here was a good one. All the Staff from the desk to the Doctor were helpful, professional and friendly. Doctor Elbanna made me feel at ease and throughly explained my options for issue I was having.
I fractured my clavicle and ended up seeing a PA, named Mike Smith. He said I didn't need surgery based upon the x rays but talked about getting it done anyway. He did not tell me how many weeks it would take to heal and he wanted me to come back a week later. I felt like he was more pushing for surgery than anything else. Poor bedside manners, lack of compassion, asked me no questions, so I am not meeting with him anymore and scheduled an appointment with The surgeon Dr Schmidt instead. She explained my injury in detail as well as clear and concise instructions on how to care for my injury. She gave me confidence in my complete recovery. I came to Memorial Ortho based off of an amazing experience we had with my son when he had an SC joint sprain. Come time for me and I recieved less than sub-par care. Dr was dismissive. Had ZERO suspicions of a diagnoses for me. Not even a thought. My MRI is mysteriously “amazing” yet I have a HUGE lump where my tricep is and it feels like stringy meat. My pain has never improved at all, no improvement in range of motion, my whole arm is swollen down to my fingers..all in 9 weeks. Zero improvements but it’s a “mystery” accor... read more
