Memorial Grove was originally planted as a living tribute to the local servicemen who lost their lives while fighting for their country. Bronze plaques dedicated to twenty-one soldiers were placed in the grove. Reading each plaque I feel the history that shouldn’t be forgotten.
Beautiful park that has a decent view of Van Cortlandt Park.
Perfect place to sit and ponder the age of the grove. Was on way to Wave Hill.
