Came to the hospital the day after I had surgery. Everyone was absolutely amazing they called check on me the next day I received a card in the mail thanking me for being there. The person at the front desk did call my insurance and verify that it was indeed covered since I had met my deductible I knew I would only have my copay. Expensive!!! A billing nightmare! I came home early from a holiday trip because the whole family was ill. Woke up on this morning thinking that I may have strep throat and wanted to make sure that my baby had not been exposed to it (if I tested positive, we could all be treated). Everyone was extremely friendly. Suspiciously friendly. They wanted to be clear that this is an ER, not Urgent Care when I filled out the paperwork.
