Melvin’s was the right choice for us. Loved the atmosphere, the service was great, the food was delicious, and the portion sizes were actually good for the price. Especially loved the onion rings and bbq with the Alabama sauce!
I’ve been eating there since you were on Coleman Boulevard in the late 50s today 2025 I eat in Mount Pleasant the sandwich an order of fries and a drink cost me $21 just for me personally. I am no longer your customer you have out price enjoyment of your meal. I wish you the best but it’s too high for me. Glad my wife wasn’t there it would’ve cost me over $40 for lunch and all it was for the sandwich
Food was fine. But when you wait twenty minutes and still don't have it, watch two other tables that came in after you get served, go up to the counter to figure out why, have the employee walk by you twice and ignore you both times, and then still forget the fries, then you have ensured that we won't be back. If it had only been the initial screw up that would've been one thing; however you then choose to screw up two more times. And the free desserts won't help.
